American Psychological Association. (2011, June 1). Candidates weigh in: 2013 APA president. Monitor on Psychology, 42(6). https://www.apa.org/monitor/2011/06/candidates

This month and continuing through the September Monitor, the five candidates for APA’s 2013 president are answering two questions each issue. Balloting begins Sept. 15 and the election closes Oct. 31. For biographical information on each candidate and the candidates’ election statements, see the May Monitor.

Q1: How will you integrate/reflect APA’s commitment to diversity in all of your presidential endeavors?

Q2: Specifically, where does education and training appear in any of your planned presidential initiatives?

In addition to these questions, the candidates will be asked to answer two questions about the American Psychological Association Practice Organization goals and activities. The answers to those questions will appear online in the future.
