Thank you to the 3,800 readers who completed our 2016 readership survey. We are eager to incorporate your thoughts to make the Monitor even more useful and engaging for all APA members.
Overall, you seem to think we are on the right track. Fifty-six percent of you think that the magazine does an "excellent" or "very good" job providing information about psychology, and another 32 percent think that we do a "good" job. Fifty-nine percent think that we do an "excellent" or "very good" job providing information about APA, and another 30 percent think that we do a "good" job of that.
Your favorite section is "In Brief," with an 81 percent approval rating. But there is always room for improvement. Readers are particularly interested in seeing more coverage of science, international psychology and career opportunities in our pages.
We appreciate the chance to read your advice, praise and criticism, and we look forward to using all of it to improve the magazine in the coming year. And congratulations to Stacey Carpenter, PsyD, who won the survey incentive: a $300 Visa gift card.
The Monitor welcomes feedback at any time — send your comments to Sara Martin.
