Congratulations to the new class of APA Fellows. These exceptional psychologists have passed psychology's highest bar of achievement by showing evidence of unusual and outstanding contributions or performance in the field. Each has had a national impact on the field of psychology.
To be eligible for Fellow status, candidates must be actively engaged in advancing psychology, have at least five years of professional experience subsequent to the granting of the doctoral degree and be an APA member.
Fellows are nominated to APA's Board of Directors by an APA division that he or she belongs to. The Board of Directors recommends Fellow status to the Council of Representatives, which formally elects the slate.
