Magination Press

New book about assertiveness

In Too Many Toucans, a new release, Toco the toucan learns the importance of speaking up and setting boundaries. While Toco is building his dream treehouse, well-intentioned neighbors bring their own ideas to him, and as a result, Toco ends up with a creation that’s far from his original plans. This bright, playful story helps children discern when friendly help becomes excessive and demonstrates how they can bravely say what they need. It includes guidance for adults on how to help children learn how to be assertive and express their wants and needs. Find it, along with other children’s titles, at Magination Press.
