Chatbots: Guidance for navigating AI-generated advice

APA remains committed to safety: AI is not a safe or effective substitute for a qualified mental health provider. APA’s new Guide to Navigating AI-Generated Advice Thoughtfully and Safely offers recommendations on appropriate and inappropriate uses of AI to support mental health. Download the guide.
