An article in the June Monitor, "Figure this: deciding what's figure, what's ground," should have noted that the author of "Psychology: The Adaptive Mind" is James S. Nairne. D. Steven Lindsay is co-author with Nairne and Martin S. Smith of a Canadian version of the text published by Nelson Thomson Learning.
