American Psychological Association. (2012). Secondary Analysis of the National Latino Asian American Study (NLAAS) Dataset - Part II. https://www.apa.org/pubs/journals/aap/5790306

The purpose of this two-part special issue is to highlight and showcase the empirical research that has been generated by the release of the NLAAS for secondary analysis and to promote more research using that dataset.

Part 1 (March 2012) consisted of articles that focused mainly on psychopathology and mental health studies, which was the main purpose of the NLAAS study because it was an epidemiological study.

Part 2 (this issue) includes studies that go beyond the epidemiological focus of the NLAAS to take advantage of the rich data to examine issues related to education, discrimination, adjustment, and distress among Asian Americans.
