The issue of suicide among Asian Americans has been understudied to date, largely because suicide rates for Asian Americans in the United States have been historically lower than Caucasians.

This special issue gathers studies that represent progress in the state of science, both advancing the current state of knowledge about suicide in Asian American communities and highlighting innovative approaches to suicide prevention and management.
