The Journal of Applied Research in Memory and Cognition (JARMAC) is taking steps to increase the internationalization of the publication. As part of this effort, the journal is launching a special forum on “Applied cognitive science around the globe.” The forum will publish short articles (around 3000 words) in which authors discuss applied cognitive science in their countries, how it influences local/national policies and practices, and what areas require additional research.
Contributions from all countries are welcome, especially those from underrepresented regions. Invitations to submit full manuscripts are not a guarantee of acceptance to the journal.
Submissions will be peer-reviewed following the standard process, and accepted manuscripts will be published on a rolling basis.
Letters of intent should include:
- tentative title;
- brief description (100 words or less) of the proposed submission;
- names and affiliations of all anticipated authors; and
- contact information of the corresponding author.
Interested authors should submit a letter of intent to the Editor-in-chief Melanie Takarangi.
