The Journal of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Economics® (JNPE) is the first peer-reviewed scholarly journal focused on publishing original research in neuroeconomics, a field that resides at the interface of neuroscience, psychology, business and economic sciences.
An interdisciplinary journal, JNPE serves as an appropriate outlet for neuroeconomics articles designed to be of interest to its broad audience of scholars and professionals.
Manuscripts that use scientific methods in psychology, neuroscience, or economics to better understand any topic of relevance to economics or business are appropriate for submission. Of special interest are studies aiming at the investigation of causal relationships, e.g., intervention studies.
Read free sample articles published in JNPE.
Topics may include (but are not restricted to):
- Biological basis of economic preferences and personality (e.g., genetic, endocrinological, or neurophysiological)
- Interaction of environmental and biological factors in the formation of preferences, personality, and cognitive skills
- Application of neuroscientific measures to improve our understanding of individual and group decision making
- The role of emotion and emotion regulation in economic decision making
We accept submissions that present empirical analyses based on original experimental data.
The JNPE is included in the Social Science Citation Index, and in 2015 will be included in Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports® (Impact Factor).
Additionally, every article published in JNPE is also included in APA PsycInfo® and PsycArticles®, the world's most comprehensive and widely used psychological databases.
Visit the JNPE homepage for additional information about the journal or proceed directly to our electronic submissions site.
We hope you will consider submitting your next paper for review by the Journal of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Economics.
