The mission of Spirituality in Clinical Practice aims to inform and inspire practitioners and researchers by publishing clinical research and standards of practice about spiritually oriented interventions.
Topics of interest are broad and include spiritually and religiously informed mental and physical health care, innovative as well as tried and true assessment and treatment strategies, ethical challenges, and diversity issues broadly defined.
All spiritual and religious traditions are of interest as well as issues related to both the advantages and disadvantages of spirituality integrated training, assessment, interventions, and consultation.

- basic science regarding biomarkers and neural correlates of spirituality
- spiritually integrated assessment and treatment using evidence-based strategies
