About the Racial Equity Fund

Launched in 2023 with an initial $1.1 million investment in collaboration with the Tides Foundation and the American Psychological Foundation, the Racial Equity Fund addresses long-standing inequities in funding for people of color, organizations serving them, and scholars investigating vulnerable populations. This investment aligns with APA’s dedication to dismantling structural barriers, fostering innovation, shaping a more inclusive field of psychology, and ensuring access and opportunity for historically underrepresented communities.
