Is it time to revisit your division’s membership value proposition (MVP)? The MVP defines the products and services your division provides. Having a well-crafted value proposition will allow division leaders to communicate the division’s value to members in a consistent and impactful manner. In addition, it will help members understand why it’s a good choice to belong.

Creating an MVP takes time, collaboration, and creative thinking. There is a lot of information and advice online on how to create your MVP, but here’s a resource from the American Society of Association Executivesopens in new window with a simple template and samples from other organizations. This is not the only resource, but it’s a good starting place if you’d like to go in that direction. For more information and best practices, contact your Division Engagement liaison.
