The Climate Change Psychology Advisory Group is an informal, nongovernance, advisory group that supports APA and APA Services’ efforts to strengthen the field of climate change psychology and broaden the impact and application of psychological and behavioral science.

APA’s Climate Change Psychology Advisory Group consists of volunteer advisors who include behavioral scientists, business leaders, policymakers, and psychologists. Members of the advisory group provide APA and APA Services staff guidance on new developments and ideas related to the psychology of sustainability and climate change. The advisory group also offers input on prioritizing and planning APA’s and APA Services’ activities in a manner consistent with the organizations’ strategic goals. The guidance provided by the advisory group is part of the efforts of a broader community of climate psychology scholars and practitioners. This community supports APA and APA Services’ efforts to strengthen the field of climate change and sustainability psychology and broaden the impact and application of psychological and behavioral science.
