In June, the Commission on Accreditation released its new accreditation home page. This home page is designed to better direct programs and the public to important accreditation documents. The new home page is divided into two main sections:
Self-Study Submitted Prior to Sept. 1, 2016
Programs currently undergoing a periodic review or those who have submitted an application for accreditation prior to Sept. 1, 2016, are now directed to a pretransition section of the website. This section contains all of the pertinent information to the Guidelines and Principles for Accreditation and current Accreditation Operating Procedures.
Self-Study Submitted On or After Sept. 1, 2016
Programs who submit a self-study on or after Sept. 1, 2016, are directed to a section that focuses on the Standards of Accreditation (SoA) and the Accreditation Operating Procedures that will be implemented Jan. 1, 2017. This section also contains the Implementing Regulations associated with the SoA and any FAQ documents to assist programs with the transition to the new standards.
If you have a question on the transition process, please contact the Office of Program Consultation and Accreditation.
