2018 CoA policy meeting

From Feb. 8 until Feb. 11, 2018, the Commission on Accreditation held its annual policy meeting in Washington, DC. The CoA uses this opportunity each year to focus on its policy-related responsibilities, including review of and revisions to implementing regulations and other accreditation policies and procedures. This year, the CoA engaged in several calibration activities that fostered familiarity with and consistency across program review processes. The communication, complaints, research and training work groups each convened and reviewed relevant policy areas and developed work plans for the upcoming year. Doctoral, internship and postdoctoral policy groups met and discussed issues appropriate for each separate level of training. The CoA will be gathering from April 12 through April 15 for its first program review meeting of 2018.
