The CoA Master’s Accreditation Work Group (MAWG) has been making progress on policy documents and developing procedures and processes for the accreditation of master’s programs. At the summer 2023 program review meeting, the CoA voted to adopt a revised version of Implementing Regulation (IR) C-19 M after going out for a 30-day period of public comment. This IR expands on its requirement to provide data on licensure and/or credentialing to also include employment rates. The Section C IRs: IRs Related to the Standards of Accreditation and the Section E IRs: Self-Governance and Regulation have been approved by the CoA and are available on the master’s accreditation webpage.
The MAWG is in the process of training the volunteer review consultants who were selected to participate in the implementation of the initial accreditation review of a select group of master's degree programs in health service psychology.
Please continue to visit the master’s accreditation webpage on the Office of Program Consultation and Accreditation website for updates.
