APA is developing a centralized application service for students applying to graduate programs in psychology, across all subfields and at both the master’s and doctoral levels.
Many health professions (nursing, occupational health, medicine, pharmacy, etc.) offer a centralized application service providing prospective students the ability to search for and apply to academic programs through a single online and cloud-based portal — similar to The Common Application you may have used to apply to your undergraduate institution. These services provide a single point of contact for applicants, minimize duplicative data entry of common application information (e.g., personal information, academic history, etc.), and provide real-time status notifications for receipt of evaluation letters, transcripts and completion of application reviews.
This anonymous and quick surveyopens in new window is intended to gauge your interest in a service for applying to graduate level psychology programs. It will only take three minutes to complete, and it will help us to better serve prospective students.
Please direct any questions about the survey to Daniel Michalski, PhD, associate director for graduate and postgraduate education & training at (202) 336-5934.
