In line with APA’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Framework 2021, APA strives for “an accessible, equitable, and inclusive psychology that promotes human rights, fairness, and dignity for all.” The Committee on Associate and Baccalaureate Education (CABE) is currently compiling a list of EDI resources to be shared with our community of psychology teachers to allow for self-reflection, to facilitate critical and courageous conversations with colleagues and students in the classroom, and to advance EDI in undergraduate education. As an example, the APA Committee on Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (TOPSS) has shared a teacher self-reflection tool with associated resources.

If you have similar resources and would like to share with our community, please submit by Friday, September 17, to Martha Boenau.

Submit Your Resource

Additionally, please also consider applying for the CABE Teaching Resources awards. This award has a short application, and it includes the potential to win a cash award and/or opportunities to publish the work.

Please join your colleagues in creating and collating EDI resources for our classrooms.
