At its February 2023 meeting, the APA Council of Representatives approved the revised APA Principles for Quality Undergraduate Education in Psychology. First adopted in 1994 and revised in 2011, the updated Quality Principles describe ongoing practices that faculty members, programs, and departments can adopt to create a high-quality, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. With the intention of serving as a practical guide with actionable items that educators can adopt, the Quality Principles focuses specifically on recommendations that can be enacted by psychology faculty and departments/programs.
