STP (APA Division 2) President Diane Finley has selected two recipients for Presidential Citations: Mr. Alan Feldman, Glen Rock High School (NJ), and Dr. Robin Hailstorks, Prince George's Community College (MD) and former Associate Executive Director and Director of Precollege and Undergraduate Education in the APA Education Directorate. These citations recognize their significant career contributions to the teaching of psychology. Dr. Finley presented the citations immediately at the end of her presidential address at APA 2023. We are sad to report that Dr. Hailstorks passed away in July; her brother received her award posthumously.
You may read the full text of both citations on page two of the July 2023 issue of STP News (PDF, 590KB)opens in new window.
