The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) (APA Div. 2) is pleased to announce the release of a new addition to its e-book series, "Promoting Psychological Science: A Compendium of Laboratory Exercises for Teachers of High School Psychology." Edited by Richard L. Miller, this e-book provides laboratory exercises for high school psychology courses as a means of promoting psychology as a science at the high school level. The e-book covers 16 different content areas including memory, learning, sensation and perception and more, providing lab exercises for many topics usually taught in a high school psychology class.
Feedback on the e-book is welcome and can be shared with Rick Miller or with the Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (to be compiled and shared with STP). This idea from this e-book came out of the APA Summit for High School Psychology Education held last summer in Ogden, Utah.
