Launched October 2017, Garth Neufeld (Cascadia College) and Eric Landrum (Boise State University) created PsychSessions Podcasts to record conversations with teachers of psychology from all levels (high school, community college, college, university) about teaching but also about so much more. During the academic year, they typically release episodes every other week (on Tuesdays), but when teachers are likely to be off (holiday and summer breaks), they release episodes weekly — think of it as a chance for professional development or binge-listening. Just last month, they released an IntroPsychSessions mini-series of nine episodes, all about 25 minutes in length, as a booster shot to launch back into the introductory psychology course with fresh perspectives from a wide variety of great introductory psychology teachers.
PsychSessions is free and does not contain advertising nor commercials. You can download episodes or subscribe on iTunes, access episodes on Spotify, iHeartRadio, Google Podcasts or at our websiteopens in new window. If you will be attending the Annual Conference on Teaching in Phoenix in October, look for us and for a special live event.
