Rachael Allen, PhD is a neuroscientist by day and kid lit author by night. She holds a PhD in neuroscience from Emory University and has over a decade of research experience. She is also a winner of the Georgia Young Adult Author of the Year Award, and her books include the Harley Quinn trilogy, The Summer of Impossibilities, and A Taxonomy of Love, which was a Junior Library Guild selection and chosen as a Book All Young Georgians Should Read.
