Psychology in Focus

In-depth explorations of key issues and topics in psychology

APA’s Psychology in Focus (formerly known as Professional Development Training Institute) are one-day, live virtual events, consisting of several webinars presented sequentially. These programs offer flexibility to fit your schedule and interests:

  • Choose just one, many, or all programs from any institute.
  • Attend on the live air date, or take the programs on demand.

All programs include closed captioning.

Live programs include PowerPoint presentation, Q&A with the presenter, and may include interactive polling, video clips, and other resources.

After the live air date, webinars are converted to on-demand programs, which offer the opportunity to earn CE credits by completing a test.

Programs in this series have been reviewed and approved by the APA Office of Continuing Education in Psychology.

The American Psychological Association is recognized by the New York State Education Department's (NYSED) State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists #PSY-0100. Programs meet NYSED requirements unless otherwise specified.
