Dismantling Racism in the Field of Psychology and Beyond
Essential Science Conversations
October 2024
In 2021, APA passed resolutions initiating a process of atonement for its participation in promoting, perpetuating, and failing to challenge racism and discrimination toward communities of color. The May–June 2024 special issue of the American Psychologist examines the ways psychology perpetuated racism and offers strategies and mechanisms to aid in dismantling racism. Join us for a conversation with the guest editors for a discussion about the research and methods highlighted in this special issue.
