Technology in Workplace Testing and Assessment
June 2021
Technology is becoming a core part of many psychological testing and assessment practices in various contexts (education, workplace, clinical, forensic), innovating ways in which data are collected, analyzed, and interpreted. While such innovations offer exciting possibilities for psychological research and practices, they also pose several new challenges associated with validity, reliability, and fairness/bias as well as with ethical and practical concerns.
This video focuses on technology in workplace testing and assessment. Three experts answer the following questions:
- What kinds of workplace testing and assessment technology do you find most exciting and why?
- Where do you think the field is heading next?
- What do you think is the most critical issue to overcome in this domain, and why?
- Please share any thoughts you have on diversity, equity/fairness, and inclusion issues within this domain.
