Improving community well-being: Psychology’s role in advancing population health
October 2024
A population health approach aims to address the broad and complex nature of behavioral health conditions, promising improved health outcomes for everyone. Expanding beyond traditional one-on-one therapy, this strategy utilizes a wider range of tools to tackle mental health disparities. Attendees will learn about current APA initiatives and partnerships that are advancing this way of thinking, hear about examples from psychology aligned with a population health approach, and discover opportunities to engage in these important efforts—as an APA member and in their own communities.
Join us, to discuss our continued commitment to the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities, and how your expertise in psychology can help further advance population health.
