Making mental health and well-being for all a global priority is not just the theme for World Mental Health Dayopens in new window on October 10, it is a core mission of the Global Psychology Alliance (GPA) and countless other organizations, governments, communities, and individuals around the world invested in creating a better future. To celebrate World Mental Health Day this year, GPA leaders asked people: “What does mental health mean for you?” We received responses from individuals of all ages, cultures and backgrounds representing 34 countries in 26 languages.
Whether mental health means access to care, feeling safe, familial support, or playing with friends on the playground, the Global Psychology Alliance strongly believes we must Make Mental Health and Well-Being for All a Global Priority, on World Mental Health Day and on all days.
