About the Global Psychology Alliance
Global challenges require unified, global responses. As the world faces crises without precedent, more than 80 national, regional and international psychological associations, as well as scientific institutions and training programs from every continent across the world have joined together and formed the Global Psychology Alliance (GPA) to take action to elevate psychological science to address global issues too big for one association to tackle alone. Psychology is critical to every aspect of humanity at the individual and societal levels and psychologists have a crucial role in supporting health and well-being globally within a human rights framework.. Bringing together experiences, knowledge, and perspectives from every region of the globe enhances our collective ability to apply psychological science to effectively address societal issues.
