Featured Psychologist
Manuel Paris, PsyD, is an associate professor of psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine and deputy director of Hispanic Services for the Connecticut Mental Health Center. He also serves as director of Training for the Latino Track of the Yale Psychology Pre and Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program at the Hispanic Clinic. Paris has dedicated his scholarship to the topical area of: cultural/linguistic adaptations of evidence based interventions and assessments, multisite training and fidelity monitoring and workforce development. Paris teaches and lectures extensively on the topics.
Manuel Paris has co-authored several articles on Latino behavioral health issues. In 2007, he co-founded the Connecticut Latino Behavioral Health System (CT LBHS). The mission of CT LBHS is to enhance, expand and evaluate a network of treatment services developed from regional partnerships and tailor them to meet the specific behavioral health needs of the Latino community. Manuel Paris currently serves as the Public Policy Issues Advocate for the National Latina/o Psychological Association.
