Technology, Mind, and Behavior (TMB) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal publishing original work at the intersection of psychology and technology. Articles in TMB demonstrate the vital role of psychology as a hub science in all high-quality research examining both technology and humans.
We welcome submissions addressing technology from any branch of psychology, including but not limited to biological, clinical, cognitive, developmental, educational, health, human factors, industrial-organizational, social, and quantitative. All areas of research psychology are invited, whether employing quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods.
We recognize that impactful interdisciplinary work often requires pushing aside or even breaking conventional approaches to research, which often creates challenges for publication in conventional disciplinary journals. At TMB, we invite and prioritize such innovation.
All successful TMB submissions share a commitment to rigorous and innovative explorations of technology to understand or influence human affect, cognition, and/or behavior at the individual and/or group level. Empirical work, including primary research, meta-analyses, and systematic reviews, is most common. However, we also highly value rigorous methodological work, especially proposals and tests of new methods for studying psychology and technology. Research examining meta-issues in such methodology, such as ethical considerations, is equally encouraged. Given our interdisciplinary readership, all submissions should clearly and thoughtfully justify their chosen approach.
When ready, please consult the submission instructions for further guidance on submitting your manuscript.
