Deadline for submissions: Open

We are seeking general topic submissions for Translational Issues in Psychological Science (TPS), a peer-reviewed journal co-sponsored by APA and the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students.

“Translating Psychology: General Topics” is a recurring section appearing periodically in TPS issues. While each issue of TPS is devoted to a particular topic or theme, this section includes articles on a broad range of topics, showcasing the scope and diversity of psychological research. Papers that bridge diverse areas of study within psychological science and contribute to a more integrative understanding of the field are preferred.

Manuscripts submitted to TPS must be coauthored by at least one psychologist in training (graduate student, postdoctoral fellow), should be written concisely (no longer than 25 pages) for a broad audience, and should focus on the translational applications, practical implications, and impact of the research presented in the manuscript. The journal welcomes general topic submissions utilizing a range of methodologies, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods approaches, and research reviews.

For more information about the journal, including detailed instructions to authors, visit the TPS homepage.
