Traumatology invites submissions for a special issue dedicated to new developments in understanding and assessing the impact of trauma on youth and their families, with an emphasis on practical applications of research findings. Studies on assessment as well as risk, resilience, and recovery are welcomed.
This special issue aims to not only to remember the past but also to empower and inform future responses to stressors and catastrophic events.
We seek empirical research, systematic reviews, case studies, and theoretical papers that address, but are not limited to, the following topics:
Submissions should adhere to the APA 7th edition style guidelines and contribute original academic insights into the fields of traumatology, psychology, social work, and resilience studies. All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer review process based on originality, technical quality, and thematic relevance. Papers should provide clear evidence-based insights and have implications for practice, policy, or further research.
