Leadership Development Programs

The Leadership Institute for Women in Psychology (LIWP) remains dedicated to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in leadership roles within the field of psychology. We are currently undertaking a comprehensive redesign of our Signature Program to better align with our newly adopted mission, vision, and program creed. As part of this initiative, we have temporarily paused the Signature Program to conduct a thorough curriculum audit and implement various enhancements. These include redesigning our website, launching a new application system, and creating a shared online space for LIWP stakeholders, providing access to resources such as upcoming events, recorded webinars, director's newsletters, and LIWP publications. We are also thrilled to announce that the 2024 Chin Address, to be delivered in July 2024, will be given by Ellen Ochoa, a distinguished American engineer, former astronaut, and the first Latina woman in space, who also served as the first Latina woman director of the Johnson Space Center. We eagerly anticipate the reinvigorated 2025 LIWP Signature Program, with applications opening in August 2024.
