In spring of 2018, the Commission on Accreditation (CoA) surveyed the Site Visit Corp about the benefits of participating in site visits. After reviewing the results of the survey and further CoA discussion, site visitors will be recognized with opportunities to be awarded Continuing Education (CE) credits. Site visitors will now be eligible to receive 25 CE credits for completing one site visit, effective Sept. 1, 2019. A site visitor is able to receive these 25 CE credits once every calendar year for site visits completed after Aug. 31, 2019, at no cost to the site visitor. The CoA is currently working to identify other ways to recognize site visitors who might not benefit from CE credit. The Commission will provide additional updates on these efforts as soon as they are available.
