How to Conduct Socially Just Mixed Methods Research
Statistics and Data Collection
October 2024
This webinar aims to share what mixed methods are and how we can intentionally work to make practices more socially just. Within the context of social justice, mixed research designs can help identify ways in which systems perpetuate inequity and oppression, while simultaneously highlighting the voices and experiences of those impacted by those same systems. The presentation will discuss mixed methods fundamentals, a 13-step guide to facilitate socially just intentions when enacting these methods, illustrated through applied examples of conducted and published research.
