Political uncertainty can be challenging, regardless of your beliefs or where you fall on the political spectrum. For many Americans, the transition of power and the rapid speed of change may cause stress and anxiety about the political environment and the future of our nation.
APA’s 2024 Stress in America survey revealed that 77% of Americans believe that the future of our nation is a significant source of stress, 32% reported the political climate has caused strain between them and their family members, and 30% said they limit their time with family because they don’t share the same values.
