What is Keeping us up at Night? A Behavioral Approach to Sleep
Health Behavior
November 2023
The benefits of a good night’s sleep are numerous and well known, yet sleep deprivation is still a public health issue. This webinar goes beyond the biological drive for sleep and explores sleep as a behavior. Why do we sleep when we should be awake and stay up when we should be sleeping? Several avenues, such as bedtime procrastination, emotion regulation, and cultural influences are discussed.
