Efficacy and Clinical Implementation Of TMS, ECT, and Ketamine
Practice, Research & Resources With McLean Hospital
November 2023
The field of neurotherapeutics is rapidly evolving with new, exciting advances that offer hope to patients who have not been able to achieve remission from their psychiatric illness with psychotherapy and medication. Drs. Seiner and Brown have dedicated their careers to understanding and treating the most treatment-resistant patients and are excited to share the basics as well as the latest cutting-edge advances in the field.
In this presentation the speakers summarize the clinical use of three neurotherapeutic options—transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), and ketamine—and help clinicians identify appropriate patients who may benefit from them.
